Laptop Acting Strange

The laptop that I am using at the moment is not performing as it should. On certain forums when I post a message the post never appears. In addition to this at certain times when I am online using broadband the system will stall for one or two minutes during which time a white box appears at the top left hand corner of the screen.

I have ran the usual checks using AVG,

Spybot

and

CCcleaner

but this has not fixed the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

run either Kaspersky online and or Nod 32 online these are anti virus/malware and will identify if this is malware related

Thanks for that.

I couldn't get either program to work so I downloaded a package called SuperAntiSpyware and removed around 70 problems from my system including some Malware problems however the system is still not running as smoothly as I would have liked.

For example when I select the internet icon on my desktop it takes around 6 minutes for the firefox browswer to open which I feel is too long. Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Tried again but no joy when I accept the T&c of the 1st program it does nothing.

I downloaded prevx CSI Scanner and it detected 0 problems.
