Hi everyone
Been a bit busy over the past few days. OH came back on Friday, but I managed to get the house looking better before he came back. We went out for a drink with friends Saturday night, I went to see The Grinch on Sunday morning with my niece and nephew (didn't think much of it), spent the rest of the day with them and then went to my works Christmas meal (all you can eat buffet:D) in the evening. Only had to pay £10 towards that as the company paid a big chunk of it.
Yesterday OH had the hospital (hearing problems) and I had the hospital in the afternoon. Nothing much to report. I'm up to 55kg in weight (back in May I weighed 47kg, so that's amazing for me). I'm probably going to have to have more IVs in February, but should be able to do most of the 2 weeks at home. Other than that, they're going to leave me be until the new year :j
The competitions haven't been going well. I've not had much time to enter them over the weekend, and I've been feeling a bit bored (because of not going to work) and bad about not really earning/contributing at the moment. So I've gone back to the surveys. Yes, they are boring, but at least I'll be earning a bit and it's guaranteed income, unlike the competitions. I need something to occupy my mind and feel useful
I've done well today. Had to wait in this morning for the oxygen man (oxygen top-up) and then went to see a friend, before coming to my mum's for lunch. Before I left home, I did 30 minutes of tidying/cleaning. It looked a lot better once I'd finished. Will try and do at least 30 minutes a day, but would like to do an hour, just to keep on top of things.
I've also managed £10.06 worth of Prolific surveys :j
Going to plow on with some more surveys this afternoon. And don't worry, I'm not overdoing it - I know better now!!

Well done on the weight gain and nice that you are ok until the new year.
Surveys are boring but the cash/vouchers is definitely handy. Glad you are not overdoing it."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks Jwil - I think it's the most I've ever weighed!! Problem is now a lot of my clothes are very tight, so I'm going to see what I get for Christmas and might have to go shopping in the new year

I'm at my mum's at the moment. I think she was feeling a bit left out in the hospital drama stakes, so she went and broke her shoulder!! She went to the hospital yesterday and now has to wear a sling. She's finding certain things a bit difficult, so I've come over to help her out. Not nice when you live on your own. I would stay over, but I've got so many medical things at home, it's a nightmare getting them over here.
I've been plowing on with Prolific. I've earned £32.30 over the past 3 days, which is brilliant. I've got £22.94 cleared, so will claim that later for payment tomorrow. Will see if any others get approved before claiming.
I'm going to try so so hard to reach a whole months worth of Swagbuck targets in December. I've got no excuse as it's not as if I've got to go to work!! I've got plenty of time.

Wow, that's a great amount, well done :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

I ended up with £41.10 worth of Prolific surveys completed last week. That's pretty good considering that was only Tuesday-Friday, so I'm hoping to top that next week (haven't had any over the weekend, but then haven't been online that much). I withdrew £23.94, which I received on Friday, and have already got £8.70 cleared and £9.70 pending.
I've reached the second goals on Swagbucks yesterday and today and have already claimed a £10 Mastercard from them (will pay it off OH's phone bill - it was better value than a gift voucher).

Well done on the surveys EMz, I've not seen a thing on PA in days. My one poll doing ok and uptown £18.40 but the £30min seems mikes off.
Great news about the weight and good to hear you're well enough to be out and about. XFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

Thank you
Prolific has been rubbish today. Not even a sniff of a survey, and I've got 5 surveys pending that aren't being approved either
I'm on the £25 Onepoll target and have got £12.45 (I've done a couple today). Keep going and you will get there!! It'll then be much easier getting £25 instead of £40.
I have reached my second Swagbucks target and claimed a £5 M&S voucher though. Also got a couple of eMystery shopper surveys to complete. If I get them done quickly, they might give me some more.

I redeemed from one poll just before they changed it. I've got to get to £40 another time before I can redeem again"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
