Smart heating to Worcester Bosch

Hi,
Just a quick question for some piece of mind!
I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30CDi boiler. It has a wireless thermostat - one of these:

On the boiler, the main face plate looks like this:

I've ordered the Drayton Wiser Multizone Kit 1

Am I right in thinking that the white box on the right of the above image will replace the control in the center of the second image?
I've messaged a plumber to get a quote to install this - However want to make sure it will fit/connect up before he comes round!
Any help greatly appreciated.

yes it will, the one on the boiler will be disconnected and the other hard wired in to take it's place.
You can get smart controls for that boiler where you actually replace that one on the boiler, its easy removed and the new just plugged in so no engineer needed to replace it.0 -

Thanks Bris,
Did a bit more reading and as you say, the one on the boiler will be disconnected. The new hub will be wired into the boiler and mounted onto the wall next to it because its not the correct size .0 -
All above is correct however because you will be disturbing the combustion chamber of the boiler when wiring the receiver in it really should be a gas safe registered person that does this.0

Thanks for confirming that. I have contacted the local plumber I use for a quote, but not heard back yet.
I did have a look online at DIY - However will pass!0 -
Finally had one plumber get in touch with me! Does this price seem reasonable?
£60 per hour + VAT - Reckons it will take a couple of hours.
I've also got two radiators without a TRV, so want a TRV added onto one of them. Quoted £80+VAT including parts.0
