Bulb energy supplier - sharp practice

My son and I just received emails from our energy supplier Bulb confirming their 11.1% increase. Fair enough.
But I would like to highlight what I think is a sharp practice.
They have recently increased prices by 11.1% but have asked me to pay an additional 18% and my son a whacking additional 75% !! Both our tariffs were set by them in the summer based on extremely accurate annual figures, in my case based on a three year average. In both our cases before we switched we were very slightly in credit with our previous supplier. Furthermore they are saying it is because we will use more energy in the winter and won't have sufficient credit. Fancy that! It is inevitable because we switched in September but clearly if we pay the increase we will have a large credit come next September. We both pay by monthly direct debit which they say they will increase from next month.
Any advice other than pointing out the above to them?

Thanks yes, emailed them and they were semi-sympathetic in that they put it back down - for now, as they said. And thanks, yes, have found the other thread on this.0
