Multiple Parking Fines in Grosvenor Casino Newcastle
joema
I recently stayed in Newcastle for a 6-week block of university teaching. Whilst I was there I parked in the Grosvenor Casino car park multiple times whenever I went to the Pure Gym (located next door). I completely hold my hands up and admit that I had no intentions of using the casino and was only using the car park to park for the gym.
When I returned to my permanent address I found I had multiple £60 Parking Eye tickets, many of which had already gone up to £100 as I had exceeded the time limit in which to pay them. I do not dispute the fact that I parked there against the rules but had I been made aware of the first invoice I would have parked elsewhere and therefore not encountered multiple fines.
I have appealed through the Parking Eye online form using a template from one of these forums. Currently, I am awaiting a response from parking eye. What are my next steps and what chance do I have of getting them overturned?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Why did you think you could just park your car in a private car park and toddle off somewhere else ?
Parking Eye are the worst for taking people to court.
Your only hope, and it's slim, is that the signage does not comply
to the BPA code of practice
You cannot complain to the casino unless you are a member because they
will not let you in without membership0 -
Another hope would be Golden Tickets (see the NEWBIES thread 3rd post).
Don't park like that again; people who park that selfishly are actually enabling the scammers to have an excuse to be there. And in your case, this could prove to be a very expensive lesson for you, if they are not Golden Tickets (see NEWBIES thread please).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
