How best to make the most of £25,000

Hi, have got £25,000 inheritance & I know that I can put £3k in a cash mimi isa, whats best to do with the rest- LOW risk though please, but obviously as good returns as possible. Thankins!
Mortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄

I would suggest that you use 3k for an ISA as you stated and the other 22k would give you a decent return in a high interest account like ICESAVE or ICICI.
If you are not going to use the money for a while you may consider putting it into a fixed rate bond where you can get a better rate of interest but your money is normally tied fr 12 months.0 -
that was one of my thoughts but then i heard negative reports about the fixed rate bonds not paying out as much as they say & being invested badly so they dont do as well. Its all so confusing.
