Record PIP assessment

After reading accounts how assessor reports are not always accurate, I think recording an assessment could be a good idea. I see there are rules about informing them, taking two recorders etc but what would be the consequence of just recording it on your phone? Has anyone ever used a recording to prove their assessor lied?

Any recording you did would be dismissed as not following protocol.0 -

Firstly, remember that although there are horror stories, the majority of assessments are fine, and don't involve lies. People only take to social media when there's a problem.
You need to either do the recording by the rules, or not at all.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Yes, I did it. It didn't help and at Tribunal they sent some jumped up suit from the DWP to ensure my recording was not used! Best to go down the legal route with two tape recorders.0
