Envirofone have made one mistake in sending you the wrong phone. They're being careful as they don't know what will happen between now and you returning the handset you have received. If they haven't a stock of your desired handset what would you have them do?

Caution: do not arrange to return the phone - get THEM the arrange to return, such as sending you a pre-paid address label or arranging a courier collection at your convenience. (The person who arranges the return is liable for the goods being returned until they've arrived safely with the recipient).
  • I have had a similar experience with Envirofone. SENT THE WRONG PHONE
Ordered an Unlocked iPhone. They dispatched a locked one. (Locked to EE). Despite my noticing immediately the confirmation email arrived and calling/emailing, within minutes of placing the order, they claim the one they've sent is the one I ordered, and I am liable to arrange and pay for the return, awaiting a refund at their pleasure. Complete intransigence - almost like gas-lighting. NNTR, just feel this may be a trend with that company and needs recording.

2 occurrences 11 months apart wouldn't be much of a trend.

Infact most companies/retailers would love to have that lack of negative feedback over that time period
