As far as I know Parceline deal with all Sony Playstation exchanges - I am not going to get into the *retailer must deal with all problems instead of the manufacturer* kerfuffle suffice to ask isnt it ok to alter the terms and conditions of purchase if you make the customer aware of changes before they have paid (and therefore entered into contract)?

Anyway back onto the Parceline thing, I am a multiple franchisee and have only dealt with a small handfull of PS3 exchanges versus a much larger number of Psp and PS1, PSx and especially PS2 - when the PS2 came out probably about 5% of my franchise's revenue was from PS2's.

I have no knowledge of other companies dealing with Sony for this service and believe that they still use the manufacterer deals with most problems after the first month. Can't comment before the first month though.

Thought I would share my purchase with you all.Ps3 60Gb,2free games ,wireless controler,charger for your remote (1/2 price £5) for £355. As princess said pay with a Virgin card and get 10% off. I havent got one so sai to the luvly member of staff if I was to open one come back with the original receipt get a refund on my purchase and rebuy it with my new virgin card.She said Yes that would not be a problem :-).
She also said that there was not many 60 gb out there as sony want to sell more of the 40gb as you cant use your old Ps2 games on it and therefore increase sales on games to and if you check out bundles at the mo they are predominately(sp!) 40 Gb.
So think fast folks if you want a 60gb for crimbo!, and just a mention on how luvly the memeber of staff was at Virgin!!!

Be careful about buying the 40gb version.... it does not allow you to play ps2 games, bizarrely it plays ps1 games (and of course ps3 games)

with regards to the difference between 40GB & 60GB

60GB will play some (not all) PS2 games but is much louder

40GB won't play any PS2 games but is much quieter (better for watching movies on)

Hi! My hubby has decided to go for a PS3 because he thinks the XBox 360 is too noisy - but he wants the 60GB version and having seen what AdrOck says, I'm now worried !!

Does anyone know how loud the PS3 60GB version is compared to the XBox 360?

Pure luck of the draw I'm afraid as to how loud your ps3 will be...

Just as some Xbox's are louder than others, some ps3's are louder too.

In game it's never bothered me, as I can't hear it above the action noise anyway.

Incidentally, the modern Xboxs are better than the old ones too.

i wouldnt worry, mines is a 60 gig version and its very quiet.
