1000!!! how long did it take to get there? I dont think I could cope with anout 800 europap and drum and base tracks.....
It has only took me a few weeks. I just hammered into it as I seen it as a way of getting extra cash for xmas. Its getting boring in this room now though I have to say. Way too much rap and cheap instrumentals sounds. I think this scout room has been a mega dissapointment.0 -

hoping that the british scout room will be less of that type of music....
hubby's band has put their tracks in there.. for a laugh... so cant wait to see the reviews....
at the moment i like reading the forums about people moaning about the scouts reviews.......
havent seen any of my reviews being slated yet...lol.....
Believe me, there was just as much rap in the last room and I think it will be in the next as well  And I hope your hubbies tracks are good if I come across them0 -
Just joined today and made £1.20 so far! yipee...gona aim for £1.50 a day for the next few weeks. Bring on the 2nd star - how do you know if you get another one? does it just said at the side or do they tell you?
Also how much do people generally write for their comments?0 -
It's so time consuming, started out doing quite a lot at first. Although now that it's gone down to 3p per star, i've only been doing a few per week.
Must get my !!! into gear and start reviewing more, the repetiveness of it gets to me eventually.

managed 21 so far today - had the day of.f, and managed over 100 tracks in this room I can now see why simon cowell hates so much stuff. Still heard a coule of good tracks - found I can listen to the track while fuilling in surveys :-)
Generally I'm nopw the 20th person to rate a track, so we are about 2/3 of the way through this group now if I understand evertything correctly
at this rate I'll be on 4* in two months all being well <goes off crying and sobbing>No longer an accidental landlord, still a wannabe millionaire:beer:

LOL molit, keep your chin up and you will get there. To be honest Im struggling myself in this room. I feel like a parrot cos there is sooooo much average crap in there and I havent been able to review as many myself. Just gotta walk away sometimes when I start giving 1s and 2s LOL0 -

Reading all the blurb it's how you rate them and whether they think you have given good reviews. Then, I guess they will give you teh next star.0 -

I joined on Friday, and did about 100 reviews over the weekend. I got my second star first thing on Monday morning, then my third in the afternoon, which suggests that maybe they don't work over the weekend (they do check the review comments manually), so joining on Friday evening & reviewing over the weekend like I did is not the best idea if you don't want to spend longer than necessary being paid 1-star rates! (anyone whose star rating has increased over the weekend feel free to correct me!)
As far as I can tell, star ratings depend on:
* The quality of your reviews (I try to write a few lines for each, write coherently, and offer some constructive criticism)
* How close your scores are to the average given by everyone else (there is a guide for scouts that specifically states you should base your scores on how popular you think the track will be, rather than just going by your personal taste - I didn't realise that at first!). My accuracy is currently around 87%, which I don't think is that great, but it's apparently good enough for 3 stars.
* The number of reviews you do (on the STP forum, a few people say that you need to do 1,000 reviews to reach 4 stars)
* To get 5 stars you need to successfully tip an artist for the showcase
These are the factors I'm aware of - there may be others too...0
