Hi,
I have read the newbie section but dont see my answer.
We parked in a pub car park for a birthday party & paid for lets say 3 hours "cant remember exact duration" but we did stay longer than paid for.
I had moved house before visiting this party & Royal Mail redirection of post was being used.
I have received nothing from Royal Mail in respect of post but the house buyers this week have forwarded some mail to me as Royal Mail i have since found out are still delivering to the old address etc.
So i have a letter from PREMIER PARK "First reminder do not ignore this letter" dated 07/08/2018 £100
Also a letter from DRP plus ltd "Demand for payment - unpaid PCN dated 15/11/2018 £160
PP letter reads,
Pcn issues "date & place shown" reason for Pcn was whole period not paid for.It then goes on to say about clear signs & now i must pay using a method shown below etc etc.
DRP letter reads, writing on behalf of the creditor in relation to a unpaid PCN.
Details were sent to address DVLA supplied as the registered keeper. As no reply a tracing service was used and now this letter has been sent to your new address. Now require full payment of £160 within 14 days.
I have read a few posts but asking if i should just ignore these letters.
Have a nice day & thanks.

I say you need to respond if only to give your correct address, to stop the possibility of getting a secret CCJ against you at that old address in a couple of years time (which is what scum parking firms do for fun).
I know the tracing firm has found your address, so confirm to Premier Park's Data Protection Officer (DPO) which address to erase and which is the correct data.
If you do not, then you are gambling on which address they might later serve a court claim to, within 6 years. Not a good gamble.
Most companies have an email address for their DPO, in a PRIVACY page online.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
Hi,
I have read through and are you telling me to do this part below as other refer to tickets on the window etc.

No I am not.

OK
I read your signature and went by that etc in respect of reading.
Will send email to the DPO of the address to erase & which is the correct address.
After this what are the steps or do we wait for a reply from them ?0 -
you would have been doing the usual appeal etc 3 months ago, but too late now, which is why you are not doing it
you are awaiting a formal LBC and/or an MCOL in the post, meanwhile you are in IGNORE the begging letters mode
post #4 of the NEWBIES THREAD told you all about ignoring DRP, did you read it ?0 -
I have sent them the email to advise of address to delete and the correct address.
I will then await other junk letters to arrive.0
