Advice sought

So had a company car for the weekend, ran over time in a car park. The charge has landed on the bosses desk today. He has paid it and now expects to be reimbursed.

Anything that can be done other than suck it up and reimburse?

depends what it says in your lease contract and also in your contract of employment

he could have notified the parking company and given the details for the hirer/lessee (you) and let YOU deal with it when you were sent a new pcn in your name

    check your contracts

Check your contract of employment. Do you belong to a Trades Union - speak to your rep.

well its your choice, if there is nothing in writing then he cannot make you pay it unless its in the lease you signed for the company vehicle ?

but, not paying it could result in other issues for you , so think carefully about it
  • It was more of is there anything I can do to company rather than the employer.

But I’m guessing they have their ££ so nothing I can do.

Nope, they have your ££! It was never theirs. Get your boss to wise up on this scam.
