Amazon Fire Stick What other Televidion Travels

I do not own a Smart television. I hsve been considering for some buying an Amazon Fire Stick second generation with Alexa Voice Remote. I have taken the plunge and purchased on this week an Amazon have refuced them to £24.99. I was wondering if there was any way to download other channels like Sky Atlantic. I remember someone mrntioning Kodi and Rasberry but have no idea what these are. Also is there a free app to download old films. Any suggestions or advise on this subject will be most helpful.

Not sure Raspberry is, only thing I can think of is Raspberry Pi but don't think it can go on a firestick.

The only legal ways to access Sky Atlantic are Sky Satellite and Now TV - Sky do not provide the channel to any other operators.

Buy a Roku streaming stick and subscribe to the Now TV entertainment pack if you want Sky Atlantic legally.
