Hi,

I feel like a moron but I cannot figure out how to fit some Wilko blinds... according to the instructions the bracket kinda goes on top of the blind, you slot in the blind and then clip it into place... the problem I’m having is that it just doesn’t clip in?

Am I missing something please? :embarasse

Thanks

When you offer the blind up to the bracket do you not turn the little bracket that sticks out the front that then makes the bracket grip the blind.

Thank you, yes I did - I started with the Fig C1 Slide In and moved it to the C2 position... it feels like there’s some resistance and like somethings happened, but the blind just falls if I let go :(

I've fitted four of these blinds and each time I found the little lever arrangement fun and games.

Hook the blind over the two tabs at the front first then offer up the rear of the blind to the bracket and slide the lever from C1 to C2, I found with mine you might need to push the lever up slightly so that it drops down on the other side of the pivot then it will grip the blind correctly.

I cannot see the image, but ... if they are like my metal Venetian blinds you are not a moron!

There can be a knack: I had to puzzle out taking down first! :o

I start wiggling the blind a little and pressing into position. Even then one of the grips can need 'hammering' with a small tool to turn (very stiff).

I felt your pain, albeit after you found the solution. I pay people to do this now, less stress!
