Successfully reclaimed PPI yet still being taken from CC

Good morning.

I'm sorry if this has been covered already, but there are so many threads about PPI.

We claimed for PPI successfully on our credit card and received a pay out about 4 years ago.

The bank are still taking PPI on our cards even after the claim. My question is, can we claim again for the last 4 year?

Many thanks

Banks no longer offer PPI (and haven't done for far longer than four years).
What exactly do your statements say the payments pertain to?

If it is Payment Protection Insurance (PPI), then why haven't you cancelled it? I recommend you check your statements far more regularly than once every four years.

If it is the insurance you were already refunded, you may get a refund of the additional amounts you've paid. However, it doesn't sound like PPI.

Are you sure it's not CPP or something like that?

Does it appear on every statement as a fixed amount or variable?

What did the bank say when you rang and asked them about this charge?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Normally, when you make a complaint that PPI isn't suitable, then the PPI is stopped.
Have you asked the bank about this?
