No. But they may lower the limit.
Give it a few months before asking .0 -

A change of job is generally seen as a higher risk event.0

Although no job is guaranteed, it's far more likely that you're going to end up unemployed within the first few months of a new job than say, 3 years in.0 -

See your bank, if that's an option.
I was only weeks into new job when the bank threw a lifeline for either one of their credit card or an overdraft - honestly weeks in and even on the equivalent of minimum wage to my surprise - to think I'd taken out payday loans when being paid more over the last few years.
No job is actually safe - It turned out a lot of colleagues I spent at least 5 years with were redundant/got rid off in no time, some of them had quite a few years behind them. No wonder the wage was silly low back then...good to know I definately couldn't change the past so you never can tell.0 -
Many jobs have a probation period, 3 months, 6 months, etc in which time they can simply decide they don't want to keep you on and give no reason. A lot of jobs will state an initial contract period after which they will be made permanent.
Just getting a higher paid job would not mean automatic increase, especially if you have maxxed out all your cards, it could be seen as irresponsible lending.0
