2 bed flat - full electric - which supplier should I go for?

Hi,

I moved in to a new flat about a month ago - 2 bed, all electric, well wrapped, 10 years old building. I am single, working professional, so will be at home evenings and weekends.

I found out that the current supplier is Scottish Power, so was planning to stay with them. I tried to get new tariff through uSwitch but was rejected by Scottish Power twice because of totally silly reasons (and lost like 3 weeks because of that). After conversation over the phone, they promised to come back to me on Friday with new offer, obviously they didn't so bye bye Scottish Power and I don't want to see you again.

The question is which company should I go for? I can see nice offer from Bulb, Octopus Energy, EDF Energy and eON. The thing is that Bulb and Octopus have got like 9.5/10 score all over the internet, when EDF and eON like 0.5-1/10. What is that? There can't be such massive difference between them and I have got a feeling that someone is buying fake reviews here...

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

I just came across a great tariff at eON site that seems to be even better then Bulb and the rest of those that I mentioned:

E.ON 1 Year Exclusive v4 - Electricity Only (Unrestricted & Monthly Direct Debit) - Standing rate - 16,422, Unit cost - 13,724 - I need to give them a call tomorrow and ask if it is still available at all unless you guys say that it is better to stay away from them :rotfl:

As you are all electric do you have storage rads ? If yes then you should be looking at an E7 tariff - the one you quote is single rate.

You have already come across the poor customer relations that some companies have - many are Ok until something goes wrong.

You appear to have overcome the first hurdle and contacted the supplier for your property.

Whoever you go with - read your meters at least monthly, check your bills, keep your own records - and you will not have some of the own goals that some posters on this forum have had.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
