    Fran,
There was a form attached to the letter that asked if I had claimed any other benefits or done any work since benefit has ceased. This was needed for them to calculate back payment.
    I await the next letter!

I think I will be facing this soon, as i just requested a form this morning. I am nervous because I had my benefit stopped, mid. last year, incompetent doctor from the benefits agency and all that... so much else going on I hadnt the energy mentally to go through with an appeal. Now having done a questionnaire i know i score enough points. For example the doc didnt believe me that i have problems with my hand, but i am forever dropping things, and cant easily hit a light switch with my left hand without it wandering all over the place first! Holding food still to cut it is also painful.
Jmf its good news, and encouraging to hear something positive happening with regards to incap.

At first I found it daunting thinking about appealing but with the support from members of this board and the lady from the CAB I felt I could cope with it and was prepared to go and fight my case.

All the best, I am sure you can do it.
