Dog Rescue pages

Dog rescue pages has been closed down for some time now and I wonder if anyone on here used the site and may know if or where the people who used it have gone. Has another site been started in its place? The only reason I ask is that it was such an informative site and I learned so much from it. Also 2 of my previous rescue dogs came via the site.

The person who started it gave it up a few years ago.

It was running unsupported since apart rom an admin person who had limited access but her password stopped working an there was no one to reinstate her.

I think when the web page came up for renewal there was no one to do it so th site disappeared.

Thanks for the info I wonder where everyone is meeting to discuss dog rescue now?

I think most people used Facebook so there were very few people left who were active on the forum.

That's a shame I found my dogs on there years ago, it was a great resource.

My current dog also came through Dog Pages. Real shame but I suppose things move on.

I got two of my dogs via Dogpages, unfortunately they are both at the bridge now.

I used to frequent dog pages, I got into fostering and rescuing through that site and it was a fantastic resource. I know forums are dying out in favour of Facebook groups but I really do prefer a forum style for some things over a group.

Is there a Facebook group now for the old site?

(Covering my 14 year old dog’s ears at this point) I may be looking to rescue again in the not too distant future and would have gone back to dog pages if it was still there.
