Activate Vista Problem?

can i activate a copy of vista premium upgrade (academic) on a diff pc if used on a pc already?

Not without phoning Microsoft and uninstalling it off the old one first.

thanks for all your help folks as the online activation would not allow me to activate this again. so i followed your advice and called the phone activation number and was given a new activation code no probs through the automated service and i didnt have to speak to any human !

cheers again for your help as i was almost about to spend another £70 for new vista disks so thanks!!

Just make sure it's wiped off the old computer as WPA polls MS's servers every few days and could blacklist both.
