in Techie Stuff
has my pound sign morphed into a hashtag? and how do I get rid of it please.........it seems to just affect 2 & 3 the others appear to be ok.....!@#$%^&*()

Change your keyboard settings to UK not US.0

Because on a US keyboard there is no £ sign (it's a hash) and the " and @ symbols are swapped over too. There are a few other differences but that's the main one.
Solution is, under Windows 10, go to Settings-> Time & Language and you'll see Preferred Languages at the bottom. Set everything else first to UK and then you should get the option to remove the US keyboard.0 -
Try pressing the left Alt and Shift keys together (i.e. press the left Alt key then, with that key still pressed, press one of the Shift keys then release both keys). This should change the keyboard input language back to UK English.Deleted_User wrote: »and how do I get rid of it please0 -
