Taking delivery of a lease car - asked to sign delivery note before delivery
I'm arranging a delivery of a lease car and signed and supplied documents to the dealer (contract hire, direct debit form). Now the dealer asks me to sign a delivery note without dating it and ticking any boxes (such as confirming the car is clean and undamaged etc.). I'm not sure if this is a common practice (never leased a car before) but it seams strange they request a signed delivery note before the delivery date has ever been agreed. Should I be worried?

Just don't sign it until the car is actually delivered, I doubt if they'll pull out of the deal because of it.0

Yes! Don't sign it otherwise what comeback do you have if there is a problem with the car on delivery?0
