Missing transfer from Halifax to Tsb.

Hi all,
Any advice would be appreciated!
Yesterday I completed an online transfer from my Halifax Bank A/c to my TSB CC. All details were correct, sort code, ac no. and ref number.
The money left my ac and TSB never received the money. I called them first and they can see nothing pending. I then called Halifax who basically said despite the details all being correct it is not their error. They will fill in a trace form and gave me a 5 week timescale.
Does anyone know if theres anything else I can do. It was £500 which to some isn't a lot but took me months to save.
The girl I spoke to couldn't even tell me if I would get the money back. Actually just wanna cry!
Thanks

Don't cry. Especially while you're using an electronic device. It's not safe.
It'll turn up. It's either gone somewhere, in which case it will be found, or it's gone nowhere, in which case it will bounce back to Halifax.
You'll probably be reunited within a few days.0
