No contact from Letting Agency after successful checks and references.

My partner and I put our names down for a house to rent recently. The house was never listed as we got it before it hit the market. Paid the agency, sent off references, got credit checked. Two days went by with no word from the agency, so we rang them to ask how things were progressing. They told us the checks and references all went through. We asked if that meant we were all set to move in and they said yes and gave us the move in date. We haven't heard a single thing from them since and this was a week ago. No contact about costs or fees or even a summary of the property or the sale. No landlady details given either. Is this normal?

Get off the forum and phone them!
We're applying for a rental at the moment and we're on the phone to them constantly (they love us). :rotfl:0 -
