Amazon Echo and Dot

Hello, I am looking to get some echo tech in the house. We are thinking 1 echo in the kitchen/dinner and a dot each for the two kids.
I have seen conflicting information, can some one help with the below question?
We have amazon prime and therefore amazon music. Can the dots and echo play different songs at the same time from the one account?
Most likely scenario will be both kids wanting to listen at the same time to different songs.
any advice appreciated.

As far as I am aware the free music and the £7.99 a month paid option are both for 1 stream only. There is a family option for £14.99 a month that allows multiple streams. (Each device will need a seperate account (as it is a different family member)). There is also a £3.99 a month single device option.0

Thank you both, I am amassed that the add has the word "only" in it before £14.99!

To be fair, it's less than double the cost of an individual plan while giving you six different accountsbluesince72 wrote: »Thank you both, I am amassed that the add has the word "only" in it before £14.99!
You could do what I've done - keep three accounts for yourself, and 'sell' three accounts to friends/other family members - even if you only charge each of them 2.50 a month you'd still end up breaking evenpoppy100
