You need to stop calling them.

If you had evidence, e.g. an email from them, confirming that they had received your appeal, that a complaint to the the appropriate ATA would be in order.

On the basis that I did get an acknowledgement that they had received the appeal I should juts ignore it as they can't really proceed? Or might they just deny the appeal?

This is all rather new to me so I am rather unsure as to what is the best action to take (if any)

    Thanks

Then complain to the IPC that the operator has failed to respond to an appeal in the allotted time. Enclose a copy of that acknowledgement email.

Do not mention the phone calls. Do not mention the parking incident. Just that UKCPM have not accepted or rejected your appeal.

Thank you for your recent appeal submission, we can confirm this has been received by our adjudicators who will issue a response within 28 days.

I do not understand why you think you should deal with them again

The above confirmed they received your appeal.
They timed out on the 28 days and will remain timed out because they have nothing to reject or accept ... their problem.

And even if they did retrieve the lost data, they have still timed out

Thanks. I guess I'm just a little nervous about doing nothing...

Nothing to be nervous about, they screwed up, they timed out and now ..... they must forget it, it will not hurt them and remember you are dealing with known scammers not an authority
