The offence was on the 3/10 and the date of issue on the NIP is the 14/11. Seems to me that the NIP has been issued too late. But nothing is ever that simple. I will take a look at pepipoo
The notice does not say that it's a reminder and the date on the envelope says that it was posted on the 14th Nov, so no delay in posting and its arrival at the registered address.

Why not get her to give them a call?
They'll be able to tell you when the first NIP was sent. If it was 42 days after the event it may put an end to it.0 -

You seem to have ignored the question of the DocRef though. It's amazing how many people swear blind a NIP is late but can't say the DocRef.
Tell us that and the information advice may be less reliant on guesswork.0 -

I haven't answered the question about the DocRef because I don't have the V5 to hand. My daughter has it and she has not got back to me with the details0 -

I would urge her to provide the information as I suspect there may be an issue with the V5c rather than the NIP.
It would be useful to know for sure.0
