Out of interest what was the 'honest work' you were doing ?
  • It was meant to be delivering solar powered items in my local area. I would get jobs allocated for me in that month and the money put into my account and then invoiced at the end of the month and left a percentage of the orders.

So how many solar powered items did you deliver?
How much was paid into your account and what was the commission?
  • Hi, I think some of you might actually be disappointed by this but I’ve actually managed to get my CIFAS marker removed. Fair play to Metro bank who have been brilliant in this and could see how cleverly scammed I was.

    Im not disappointed one iota.

Were you scammed, sounds like you were tricked more than scammed. It was explained in such a way that it was made to be legal, honest.

Not sure how long it takes for a marker to be removed, expected longer.

You are very lucky, my daughter works in fraud for a bank, when things like this happen she closes an account down and sends them a letter, if they challange it, its gets escualeted with the police/insurance company getting involved.
