I have a question which is purely theoretical:
If a car receives a ticket. The owner says that they weren't the driver, and says person B was driving. If person B denies they were driving - where would the Parking Company stand?
Thanks

They would stand to make a nice little earner out of you!
It’s your car, as such the burden of proof would be on you to provide sufficient evidence that you were not the one driving.0 -
Is this connected with your other thread?
If so copy and paste the above into your thread

Sorry, but you are mistaken. It’s your car, as such the burden of proof would be on you to provide sufficient evidence that you were not the one driving.
It is for the Claimant to prove their case.

You only need to read comments on Daily Mail/Guardian/Facebook and other similar publications exposing the scam ... 'do the crime, pay the fine' crap! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
