Hi my hubby was took out the SG and placed in the WRAG group after a F2F re assessment that He had recently in Oct , I rang DWP after receiving the report result , and said we was putting in a mandatory reconsideration. We sent a ESA Mandatory Reconsideration off was posted 1st class recorded delivery which they received the next day and signed for as it showed up in Royal Mail tracking service this was 2-3 weeks ago they signed for it. My question is if anyone can help is what is the normal waiting time for them to reply with a decision? Since he was last in the SG his health issues haven’t changed he was put in it last time as he can’t cope with outside social situations suffers from anxiety and depression which he got 15 points for again this time on his assessment 9 & a 6 ( 15 points)
The assessor at the F2F never even took into account his physical disabilities as it said Curtailed/ curtailment ..so feel he should of got points in that section too, as he struggles walking
As of yet we have had no reply from the DWP since sending in the mandatory reconsideration
Thank you in advance

It really depends on the backlog in your area and it can be anything between 2-8 weeks, sometimes longer.0
