National Parking Enforcement ticket

Hi! New to all this but wondering if someone could help and advise?
So yesterday I received a final reminder letter for a parking ticket that I apparently hadn't paid for and the cost to me is £100 to be paid in 14 days.
Now here's the thing, I haven't received ANY previous notice of this ticket so how can I receive a final notice?! Also I have proof that I have paid for this ticket through bank statement as unpaid contactless however don't have the ticket anymore not that this matters because apparently I can't appeal due to the appeal time lapsing? I have sent them an email with an attached bank statement to prove I paid however where do I stand with it all considering I've had to contact them through their email on the page.

If I would have had previous warning I would have appealed straight away so what do I do considering if I don't pay £100 in 14 days apparently it goes to court and debt collectors?

Help!

Welcome to the world of scammers.

Get tough with these idiots, warn them as you have provided proof of payment, that if they continue with their threats, you invite them to take you to court where you will show the judge proof of payment and claim costs against them.

Remember, this is an unregulated industry and these scammers are chancers

Learn about this game you have joined.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.

Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by in the not too distant future..
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Used to be called Norfolk Parking Enforcement, small scummy company with a grand title. Has not done court as a claimant despite what his website says. Where did this happen?
  • I live in the Midlands however it apparently occured whilst on holiday in Hemsby. I am yet to hear a reply yet, does anyone know if they actually do reply?

Not unusual, claim to have sent letter with no proof, then can deny any appeal. Sit tight.
