named driver on car parked about 13 mins over allowed time which was 90mins.
Registered keeper has received letter.
Have contacted. Store who have said that I have to take in receipt that I did shop there. Also the letter from g24
Problem is that it was a click and collect order in my name.
So cpn is in registered keepers name and the printout of the order will be in my name.
Please advise as the 14 day period ends tomorrow.

Just received letter last night as I have been away
Nice to save.

Edit your post to remove any suggestion about who might have been driving. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.

There is no problem with an occupant of the car being identified, as long as the driver's identity is not given. The Keeper could have been an occupant, the shopper was an occupant, and someone else could have been driving.

If the complaint to the store manager doesn't work, then send the appeal template from The Keeper you will find in post 1 of the NEWBIES.

You could have been a passenger collecting goods and don't forget there are two grace periods of 10 minutes each to account for.

Thanks,. but could you please elaborate on 'grace period' and explain how this work.

registered keeper was not in car , named driver was driving.

just wary that store could pass name/address details onto g24

just wary that store could pass name/address details of driver/collector onto g24 therefore would it just be better to reg keeper to send in appeal stating he,/she was not driver at the time

They must allow you time to park and read the signs at the beginning, (and pay if applicable); and then allow time to leave the car park at the end. BPA members have to allow at least 10 minutes for each and although G24 are in the IPC, their grace periods are described as being "sufficient time" to do both.
  • Does that mean 90mins plus 2mins should be allowed.
In which case the pcn would not be valid as it was 13 mins over.

Can store provide details of customer-name/address etc to company, -driver may be identified .
Or would it be less hassle for reg keeper to appeal as he/she was not driver at the time .
Please advise as 14 day period ends tomorrow
    Than
    Nice to save.

    How does that work then?

So a shopper goes into a shop, the shopkeeper knows the name of the shopper.

I strikes me as a major leap to assume that that shopper was a driver of any car. Are there any passenger seats in this car?
  • Pcn states if driver info is not given or is incorrect then they can
    pursue reg keeper
Please advise as to what is best next step to take as will be 14 different tomorrow

    What happens tomorrow?

Does the sky fall in or is it just that they are removing the bribe they have offered?

PLEASE JUST COMPLAIN TO THE RETAILER AND STOP WORRYING. IT'S ONLY G24!

Why not simply search the forum for G24 and save our typing fingers, all cases are the same.
