Help required dealing with a parking fine from Apcoa
Parked car at Tiverton Parkway station car park. Paid by phone as instructed and a tad surprised to get a parking notice one month later. I sent Apcoa an appeal with a copy of details supplied by my bank showing the payment to Apcoa from my account. Some time later I received an e-mail from Apcoa requesting details of the phone number that I used to make the payment. I sent them evidence of the time and date of the phone booking.
Apcoa have rejected my appeal and I will now appeal to POPLA. Having looked through the forum it seems that the best advice is to use the railway car park not being "relevant land".
arguement. If I do this should I also send evidence of the parking payment and phone booking?
One other problem I am having is actually finding the draught letters on the forum as I can't navigate to the newbies thread.
Would really appreciate any help/advice.

Firstly, it is not a fine. It is an invoice for an alleged breach of and alleged contract for an alleged deviation from its terms and conditions. In other words, it is a scam.
Have you any idea why they rejected your first appeal? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

If you are trying to do this on a 'phone, don't bother.
You need to do it on a tablet or full sized PC.
Template PoPLA appeal points can be found in post 3 of the NEWBIES. Construct a draft and post it here for checking before you submit it.
Assuming Byelaws apply, only the landowner (usually Network Rail) or the TOC (GWR) can take you to Magistrates court, not the PPC, only within 6 months, and only for trespass. Unfortunately for CRAPCOA, they cannot pass your details to those entities.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Do a forum search on keywords 'APCOA Station', read recent threads (last 3 months or so) and follow advice there. We cannot keep typing the same standard advice, day in, day out, about the same old stuff. There's nothing new (or specific to your case) to say.
HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:
Hit your 'Back' button to get back to the forum thread list. On the bar just above the threads you'll see the 'Search' function. Click on the 'Advanced Search' button and on the following page place your keyword(s) in the 'Search By Keyword(s)' and make sure the 'Show Results As' button (at the foot of the window) is changed from 'Threads' to 'Posts'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
