Parking ticket and treating customers fairly
Heya
I got a parking ticket from the council for parking in the business park where my work is located. I paid for the entire day through my phone but did no realise that parking in that area started from 09:30 unless you had a parking permit. This is to stop people from using the car park for the station near by.
When I realised this, I contested the ticket proving that I worked for one of the businesses in the area and had since got my permit (which does not cost money and took like 20 minutes to do). I also demonstrated that on the day I was in the office all day etc. and was not taking advantage of the space to use the station.
The response was a frank no and that I had to pay the fine and I won't be refunded for the all day parking that I paid for. Frankly I find this ridiculous, especially as when you are getting the permit they state the reason for it is to prevent people using the station from parking there.
I am feeling for my next response for them to start whatever process they need to to take this to court and their response in unreasonable. Do I stand a chance?

In fact, as this is a real Council fine/penalty, don't bother with the Parking board - go straight to Pepipoo forums. They'll give you the best advice on how to get this killed off (if it is possible) via 2nd appeal and PATAS. Don't try to register on Pepipoo with a Hotmail address.0
