Bed bug treatment - how much?

Probably three bedrooms...

No idea how much it costs. Just don't want to get ripped off....

Anyone got any idea?

WOW. Rentokill have quoted me £1000 for three treatments....

Local, accredited company who I've had recommendations for also have quoted £200 for first visit, plus £80 for each subsequent visit.

put the money towards a proper steam cleaner and have a go yourself. Worth a try at those prices.

One article I read said that BBs are unlikely to roam more than a couple of metres from the beds so you aren't necessarily having to steam-clean the whole house. Then you have a good steam cleaner at the end.

I managed to snuff out a small colony using a clothes steamer so it seems to be doable. Plus there are chemical treatments you could double-up with.
