was my previous electric meter faulty?
Had smart meters installed and my current electric use is £76.65 from Oct 10th to Nov 12th. (33 days)
The electric for the 9th Sept to 9th Oct was about £90. (30 days)
if anything, with the colder weather, darker nights, we have used more electric using the tumble dryer a lot, more lights on, etc.
I can't see how we have used a lot less in more days unless the old meter was whizzing around faster than it should have been, and if so is there anything I could do about this now that the old meters have been taken away a month ago? There's nothing I can prove to them apart from insisting we are not using any less than we were.
Will monitor closely over the next few months and compare to the last few years.
