I also read that before spending a month there is 2015 but had no problem using a Halifax Clairity card to both pay for things as well as withdrawing cash (7-Eleven's / Lawson's are everywhere in largish towns and cities).
Saying that, cash is king in smaller restaurants etc.
You'll have a blast. Best travelling experience of my life.I’m going to Japan for the RWC,but not until September ‘19, my question is should I take a credit card as I have been told that they are not wildly accepted or what else could I take, as I will be in Japan for nearly a month, any help would be greatly appreciated.
