    I also read that before spending a month there is 2015 but had no problem using a Halifax Clairity card to both pay for things as well as withdrawing cash (7-Eleven's / Lawson's are everywhere in largish towns and cities).

    Saying that, cash is king in smaller restaurants etc.

    You'll have a blast. Best travelling experience of my life.
