Bank of Scotland ppi texts

Has anyone received a text saying that tbank of Scotland are looking into a ppi claim and will update you via text on your mobile phone. I haven't complained but have received a ppi layout from them two years ago.. Seems strange that they arent asking for any information just saying they will update me. Do we know if bank of Scotland are reviewing old claims.

Ring up and ask. Perhaps they are reviewing cases, maybe they found old account details, maybe nothing will happen. Asking the bank seems more logical than asking a forum of strangers

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Why are you still posting on here nearly 3 weeks after I told you to ring up the bank and ask? No-one here knows why you got this text or what was going on with this complaint.

Hah I'm not grumpy, I've simply given you the correct advice yet you ignored it and came back posting more vague stuff.

You received a text saying BoS sent they are looking at a PPI refund, you have previously complained and you want to know whether they are reviewing payouts - so why not ring and ask?

Now you have had another text saying they are nearly finished and you've come back here saying you haven't complained, which contradicts your first post and still haven't rung up BoS to ask them what is going on.

To repeat for the third time - if you want to know what is going on with this PPI complaint from BoS, RING UP BANK OF SCOTLAND AND ASK THEM - no-one on here can help.

Actually, very recent. OP "Gig1968" may well still respond with an answer..

Pretty obvious that the last post before "resurrection" was only a few weeks ago.

So far more likely to receive a reply than a thread from years ago, surely?

Not sure where you and I have clashed in the past? (but not caring much either) :)
