I have done that havent I?

I have reported to the police, I have a crime reference number.

What other bodies are you talking about?

Once you have a final response from the lender you can take your case to the FCA. I believe that you may also have a case to take to the ICO.

Thanks all. For now I have written to the CRAs
Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future
  • Why?
The CRA’s won’t do anything without the lenders or the courts telling them to

You need to write to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

The lender has a responsibility to report accurately to the CRAs. If they get it wrong, it's a breach of their reporting principles.

(google: "Principles for the Reporting of Arrears, Arrangements and Defaults")

Complain to the lender, complain to the ICO, report to the police. There's no point writing to the CRA's.

If all else fails, sue the lender (google Grace v Black Horse).
