Why?
The CRA’s won’t do anything without the lenders or the courts telling them to0 -
You need to write to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
The lender has a responsibility to report accurately to the CRAs. If they get it wrong, it's a breach of their reporting principles.
(google: "Principles for the Reporting of Arrears, Arrangements and Defaults")
Complain to the lender, complain to the ICO, report to the police. There's no point writing to the CRA's.
If all else fails, sue the lender (google Grace v Black Horse).0
