hi all, so I submitted my defence (AoS 14/3 and defence submitted on 1/5 - so a bit late). No further updates have been received as of yet except BW legal have now emailed me with all their "evidence" and letters asking for payment and to contact them with 14 days and pay £200+. Just wondered what the best next step was? The pictures they have sent show a car with the lights on and not even what looks like a parking space so wonder if that helps my case if I ask them to show a picture of the car actually parked as it is certainly not clear.

What is the exact name of the claimant on the court claim?

A bit late? That's an understatement.

Your Defence was due on 2nd April so it was filed over four weeks late.

I don’t think so as under claim history the last update is defense received. I assume it would be quite obvious otherwise?

Do you mean you submitted your defence on 1st April? Otherwise it makes no sense that the case is already at Witness Statement stage.

Have you not even received your DQ yet?

See below. Sorry not sure what DQ means. My sense was I should ignore their letter as the court process hadn’t finished was my understanding. Thanks for your guidance

thanks. I have yet to receive a DQ, but BW Legal have been in touch to make an offer and that if I do not accept within 14 days they have instruction to still proceed.

I have read the newbie thread and had a few questions:

    1. Are they likely to just drop the case rather than go to court?
    2. Am I able to submit new arguments? They have sent pictures of a car not parked (lights are on) and state I was only in the car park for c.15 minutes based on entry / exit. Is there a case if you are not there long and there is no picture of you physically parking?
    3. If I don't want to physically go to court and take time off work what would the best course of action be based on where I am at in the process?

thank you to any respondees in advance
