Platinum Cashback Credit Card question

Hello


The Card gives 1% cash back on spend up to £10,000 and 1.25% after £10,000


I just wanted to check, If i spend £12,000 in a year would I recieve 1% back on £10,000 and 1.25% on £2,000 or would I recieve 1.25% back on the whole lot? Am i right in thinking that I will recieve the cashback on my card anaversary?

As per the Ts & Cs at https://icm.aexp-static.com/Internet/internationalcardshop/en_gb/pdf/platinum-cashback-credit-card/Plat-CB-TandC.pdf:

you will earn Cashback at the rate of:
• 1% for the first £10,000 of purchases on your Card Account in the preceding 12 months; and
• 1.25% on purchases on your Card Account over £10,000 in the preceding 12 months

Cashback will be paid to you by crediting your Card Account in the month after your card anniversary date with the Cashback earned in the preceding 12 months.
