Public liability for land

Anyone have standalone liability insurance for land they own? I've looked at smallholding insurance but was also looking into just public liability by itself. From the ones I've looked at the difference in price between the two is minimal. I thought it would be cheaper??

When your looking at smallholding compared to standalone PL policies you are getting into the realms of minimum premiums so its unlikely to make much difference.0

Insurers will charge a minimum premium for a risk that they deem is enough to still turn a profit albeit a small one. That will vary on the type of insurance.
Generally for something like PL with 1 million limit id expect £100 plus tax.0 -
I insure my 12 acre field with woodland for around £170 a year. It is liability only but this is all I need at the moment. Don't know how this compares to the quotes you had but would assume a liability only insurance would be cheaper than a smallholding insurance.0
