Wife got a mbna nosia refund out of the blue

As above we recieved a cheque in the post for a few hundred pounds for an old mbna credit card she had, now I know I’ve had two cards in the past and they’ve been settled but there was a brief period I was getting charged silly interest or charges for late or missed payments before we cleared the debts, I’m just wondering is the nosia something I can chase up and enquire If im owed any refunds or will they contact me if I’m owed anything, also is this just mbna or are there other banks who have nosia issues?

They'll do it automatically.

NOSIA refunds are not uncommon and proactively resolved by the lender.

Thanks for replies, I’ll wait and see what happens then!
Before I paid the card off I know there was a period where I was getting charged for late payments etc, whether they sent a nosia or not I’m not sure!
