Morning all! Just a little update,
Having received my telephone hearing date for the 12th November 2020, I had prepared my witness statement and supplementary witness statement ready to be sent in the next couple of days. However finally after 2 years of stupid nonsense they have decided to "Discontinue this claim", they said the reason was due to COVID-19 but we all know it's because they don't have a leg to stand on. I presume they sent it reasonably early as they would have had to submit the court fee soon.
To say I'm over the moon is an understatement! I was kind of looking forward to explaining to the judge how CEL are trying to charge me £280 for a £1 ticket I paid!
Nevertheless I wouldn't have had the confidence or information without this forums help, so I truly am grateful! The whole scenario has actually built my confidence up as a person and I've learnt to challenge and not be walked over. But again thankyou so much for all your help and patience, you guys are doing an immense job!
