hmmm, hope it works out for you but TBH it sounds pretty dodgy to me and I suspect you will be getting a final bill direct from Motonovo sometime soon.
Good luck

From the details in your opening post - lets hope that £100 you paid to the guy is the end of it.

hi Jackie,
I guess you have deleted your OP as you've seen the comments and come to the same conclusion as the rest of us; i.e that you've been had. I do hope not but somehow I don't think we will be getting an update from you.
good luck

I vaguely remember they had a car with damage to alloy wheels and something else and the person who collected it told them it would only be £100 but the damage sounded like it was a lot more and the general expectation is the finance company would send a bill for the work needed.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

The guy turned up and gave me a bill totally £200 to cover it. Without even asking for some sort of discount. He said he is allowed to offer 50% discount if I paid today. So with the damage paying £100 I was more than happy.
Car has gone and it’s all settled. Well until I have the confirmation letter from MotoNovo.
Just wanted to post a positive story (so far) on a VT
