No you won't be able to pay it off with a 0% on purchases card I am afraid. You need one that either issues credit card cheques or allows a Balance Transfer from the store card.

An Argos store card per chance?

As well as the options given above, you could look at Super Balance Transfer* (SBT) cards. These allow you to pay money into your current account (ostensibly to settle an overdraft) at 0%, from where you can then settle the store card.

  • No its NEXT store card thanks you for your reply i thought there must be a way just done a BT but they wouldnt let me NEXT & ARGOS are the only two they don't transfer so am i stuck with paying it off with all the intrest every month. As i dont want loads of credit cards against my name. I thought i could have gone into next and pay it off with the 0% credit card and that would have been my puchase then all i would have done is pay it off in full over the intrest free 6 months. am i still being a plonker
