Toyota Yaris Verso misfire
Anyone got any insight into my misfire problem in Toyota Yaris Verso 2004 1.4
About two weeks ago car starting feeling like it was losing power going around corners (could feel power kick back in with a little jerk) but no fault codes showing. Changed spark plugs, bought a new battery (the old one was leaking and only half charged after driving for a while), and replaced air filter.
On Friday, check engine light came on and then went off again. Was on from start on Saturday and short drive. Fault code was P0304. Swapped ignition coil from 4 to 1 and light went off and no codes. Bought a new ignition coil to replace #4 anyway, checked resistance on fuel injectors all 16.8 (not sure what it should be but they were at least all the same), checked all wiring nothing lose.
Yesterday went for ~1 hr drive no fault codes but definitely still losing power around corners. Also filled it up with petrol but no real difference.
Today, dropped hubby at work and within ten minutes check engine light flashed then stayed on. Flashed three more times on way home and light on between then. Fault codes P0301 and P0304. Every time it flashed I was going around a corner.
I feel like it might be fuel related - thinking of going to get new fuel filter but also bit worried about driving the car. Filter is inside the tank if that makes a difference. I don't think the misfires are to do with the ignition coils but rather lack/too much fuel? Does this make sense? Am I kidding myself?
Sounds familiar to anyone or anyone got any insight?

Changed No.4 and then get fault on No.1? Which side of the engine is No.4?
I think you changed No.1 not 4. Renault number the cylinders backwards.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I had fault on number 4, swapped 1 and 4 (so even if I got them the wrong way around I still swapped them).
Changed number 1 (because it had the original number 4 in).
Now have a fault on 1 and 4.
Number 1 is drivers side.0
