CPM igored my online appeal

Hi all,
After receiving a parking ticket from UK CPM, I followed the instructions and wording of my appeal, I appealed online after about 3 weeks, but they have not responded to my appeal and simply issued a notice stating it is now overdue and I need to pay the £100. What can I do, surely they cant just ignore my appeal and act like nothing happened? But because the appeal is on their online system, I have no proof as such that I appealed, as you simply get a screen stating that the appeal is logged.
Ive appealed again, stating this is the second time Im appealing, but want to know what my options are, as of course do not want this to escalate.
Thanks

1) they can do whatever they like. its an invoice. There is nothing regulated about this industry.
2) You took a screenshot showing your appeal was submitted, as youre told to do?
3) Did you refer to your appeal of X date?
Given they are IPC, you dont have a next step anyway - they will reject an appeal anyway, whatever happens, so you just ignore anything befofre a Letter Before Action or a court claim form.0 -
Many thanks,
So are you saying I just ignore this and wait to see if they take me to court, in the hope they wont, because they have no juristiction really? I took a screenshot of the appeal page, although there is no time stamp on it, but it clearly shows, Appeal logged.

Why do you say no jurisdiction applies?
Read up in the newbies FAQ thread on advice when dealing with IPC companies
After the initial appeal you go into ignore mode
Ignore everything except a lbcca or Court correspondence
If it comes to this then come back for advice on how to defend this at that time
They have 6 years to start legal proceedings against you
If you have used your real name ln your posts then edit it out
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you0 -
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.
Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by in the not too distant future..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
