So the only point in debate is whether you should receive an additional £95 refund?

Given that you have the digital files why not simply order an album from somebody who will do a decent job promptly?

Think you've missed it mate; the photographer and me agreed 595 for the digital photos. They requested 50% deposit then 50% a few weeks before wedding.
a few weeks AFTER i paid deposit, they requested the remaining 50% (a considerable time before it being due); in exchange for paying early, theyoffered us a photoalbum free of charge.

wedding has passed, we received digital photos but no album.

time goes by and its 6.5months no album. they suggested refund of 297.50 to keep good relations as i was threatening court.
they paid 200 of that.
no news on the album
no news on the remaining 97.50

i'm not sure to be honest, its more the principle. if buying an album costs e.g. 300 quid (i've generally no idea) then it'd really bother me .. if its circa 50quid then so be it.
