Removing cooker hood grill

I need to change the filters in my cooker hood, but I can't figure out how to get the front grill off, can't find any manual for this particular model either, guess it's quite old.
I've uploaded a picture here, excuse the dirt and grime, that's why I want to take it off and clean it!
I've tried pushing in the black holes either side of the lamp, or turning them but theres no grooves to screw or anything.
Tried pushing down the white clips and unscrewing the screws at the back(that's just some back plate).
Anyone have any ideas? I probably just need to be more forceful on something, just don't want to break the wrong thing.

You may find a manual for your hood on this site:

Failing that, do any of the answers here help?

Perfect thanks, yes! This did it:
At the bottom of the screen that contains the filter, there are two black "lugs" (one on either side). Insert a finger or thumb in each and squeeze towards the outer edge. The screen will release and slide down.0
